The HVAS-Special Operations Division serves two basic
functions:
 | Emergency Response Team: An team of six members
specializing in advanced casualty management in any type of
situation from HazMat to Terrorisim. |
| Homeland Security Planning: From a daily to a
weekly basis this division receives a large amount of
information with regards to activity in the State to Federal
to the world level and peruses it to take necessary actions
to be prepared. |
