Babysitting Class
BLAST! (Babysitting Lessons and Safety Training) is an important training program for potential babysitter and parents considering hiring a babysitter. Ideal for children ages 11-14, their parent/guardian(s), or a parent/guardian(s) looking to hire a babysitter, BLAST! is an exciting and interactive class providing extensive training in pediatric first aid, household safety and the fundamentals of childcare.

CPR & First Aid
For Families
Essential first aid information or every parent or caregiver from the American Academy of Pediatrics.
The ability to provide basic care for an injured or ill child is a fundamental skill set that every parent or guardian should have. In most cases, situations that require first aid are not life threatening and can be managed with simple procedures; the key for parents and other family members is to have access to this information when they need it.
In this course you will learn to treat:
- Head, eye, oral, bone, joint and muscle injuries
- Infection, bleeding, and swelling
- Breathing problems and loss of consciousness
- Burns and heat- and cold-related injuries
- Bites and stings, allergic reactions and poisoning
- Brief Infant and Child CPR lesson
